From what I have heard; the 95/96 headlights are too dim compared to other years. In addition to the quad mod I added a Hi-Beam Bulb into the low beam spot on the passenger side to help see children & pets as the dart onto the pavement from behind obstructions.

It's tricky to get the right bulb though. Seems like the Hi-Beam [with red ring around the base] has a guide to lock into the housing and low beam [yellow ring] has it differently. One is a single blade and the other a double. It just took some "extra searching" at the salvage yard to get that bulb configuration. I would have done both but think maybe it would annoy oncoming vehicles.

When I get around to the extras I'm sure I will have LEDs too.

I love what you have done with the blazer. Mines pretty similar.

Im looking into adding 31's and I'm seeing your set up. 2" Shackles and a torsion bar lift. How are your caster angles on alignment? Does the steering feel floaty in the freeway?

Also any rubbing issues? If so where exactly?

Thanks

Haven't had any alignment issues. Freeway driving is great, although around town around 45-50mph it seems to want to drift some, not like it's uncontrollable or anything, but I also haven't had it realigned since I turned the torsion bars DOWN a couple turns a while back to level the front with the rear (didn't like the front higher than the rear...)

My 31's did rub even with the t-bars cranked pretty good, on the lower bumper valance (easily fixable by some trimming, although now I have most of that lower valance ripped off lol) and the bottom of the rear of the fender, even after hammering it in some...

Thanks Blazen_red_4x4.

So basically the 2.5" lift from RC isn't enough to clear all issues with 31's eh? You have to raise the t-bars a bit and trim?

I hate the ride quality of raised t-bars, especially on the highway. Thanks bro.
