I was curious tonight how warm the voltage regulators get after using them for a couple hours. so I drove around, got home, pulled of the jack cover in the back where I have the PWM mounted, and it was probably like 60 degrees. at the most, it was warm, but not hot.

Yeah the V-regs are only converting 13.7ish Volts to 12 so there isn't much power to burn off. I'd be more interested to see how hot the legs of the individual leds get after having the stop lights on for a while.
