So waggy pitman is probably not enough. stock yj is 2 1/2" drop, stock xj is about 3.5" drop. if you need more u might need to go aftermarket.

when they say 6-8, they base it off leaf under axle. So add in lift springs, leaf over, and tires. starts adding up...lol. I wanted to keep mine leaf under, but my wife said it was stupid to sell 6" ifs, do solid axle and still be same size. she won. my buddy who bought ifs lift also made the dumb comment, wouldnt it be funny if mine was bigger after u did sas....needless to say....his is smaller...lol.

I'm very happy with the lift , I'm just suprized on how much I ended up getting . I think I'll try the xj pitman arm first then , the pitman arm from the astrovan is straight , no drop .

Default How she sits today

Heres my blazer , the rear could still use about 2 inches of lift , I'm going to make longer spring hangers for the rear springs .

It don't look to bad , right now . I loosened the nuts holding the rear spring hangers and sprayed the crap out of everything with pb blaster , tomorrow I'll try to install the longer spring hangers .

Looking good man

this reminds me let me measure my frame clearance

Edit: with the 2inch lift and the 31s i got about 13 inches from the bottom of the frame to the ground

possibly a tad more since the driveways unlevel

Thanks guys , My brothern law decided to try his truck out in the pond , me and a friend rode up to watch him with my blazer . He couldn't make it through the pond , my blazer did it in 2wd , it was nothing for my blazer , I'm working on getting the front end together and the front drive shaft installed before this week end , I guess we are going to put together a mud run at our farm . I can't wait to see what it's like in 4wd , I have a feeling its going to be pretty good though .

Ok , new hardest thing on the build , dam them rear spring hangers . I used torches , my grinder , and couple different BFHes and a lot of pb blaster . I just finally got done , I made some 8 inch rear spring hangers , and that added about 3 inches to the rear but it still needs a little more . And that is the only thing I worked on today , but it looks a lot better . Now tomorrow hopefully I can get the u joints and axle in the front end , and get the front drive shaft installed , then I'll get some more pictures . Hopefully some muddy ones .
