1997 blazer sas solid axle swap
i would either swap axles which would be best IMO, or if it were my truck i would get wheel adapters until i got the money for the axle. If it were my truck. I do know of people running wheel adapters as well that dont have any problems with them.
yes but wheel adapters are about 200-300 which is crazy
so heres my plan
Moser Engineering - Part # C30CST -Custom Length C-Clip 30 Spline Axles - C-Clip Axles - CUSTOM REAR AXLES - Axles - Custom

if youre talking about the pinion bearing races, they are pretty easy. the axle should have little notches in from the backside of the races that you can get in there with a screw driver or punch and hit with a hammer. kinda hard to explain but if you want to knock out the front one look at it from the back side (through where the diff cover was) and you should see a place where you can hit it with the punch to knock them out
im talking about when you have the carrier out the bearings are still on it how do I remove without damaging anything. guy at work told me to just heat them up with the torch and they will pop off
so I have updates guys !Friday I reassembled the axle
Saturday cut out the junk ifs
Sunday I did touched up the frame and put the axle in
still need to do brakes lines and pitman arm
so I went with 3.73 gear ratio
ill let the photos do the talking my keyboard is messed up
