Okay so I decided to order an add a leaf kit just to get the rear up, after i get that installed I'm going to get either 33's if I can fit them or 32's. I agree on the rock sliders, I've been kicking around the idea of making some for a while now. Now that I'm actually going to be offroading more I think I'll go ahead and make a set. I have a little over a week before school starts so hopefully I can get some metal and weld them up soon.

edit: before i order the add a leafs, do you guys think new shocks would help the sag at all? Because I really need new shocks and can't afford to get both the leafs and shocks right now.

Well I just went outside to measure the ground clearence and from the ground to the flares to see how much lower the back is from the front. Well suprisingly the rear of the frame is an inch high than the front (13" front 14" back). The front flare is half an inch higher than the rear though, so it evens itself out. I guess the truck just looked lower in the back because it's on a slope. So today Im going to go to a truck shop near my house and look at tires. If I can fit 33's Im going to get a set. Im probably going to order the body lift aswell then, just to get the extra height.

Well since I'm going to actually be offroading now I decided to install my tow hooks again. I cleaned them up and gave them a coat of paint aswell. They don't mount flush anymore because of how the bullbar is mounted so I will probably weld on some shackles to the frame for when I'm really stuck, just to be safe. While I waited for the paint to dry I got bored and decided to flex the blazer just a little bit
I also got a recovery strap from Harbor Freight, my favorite store on earth

Last night I ordered a Performance accessories 2 inch body lift to get the extra clearance. Pics when it's on.

I got my lift today! Unfortunately I won't be able to put in on until probably the weekend after labor day. To anyone that has put them on, do you really hAve to disconnect everything they say in the directions? Cause it seems like a lot of the stuff will have enough slack as it is

I didn't have to extend my filler hose I just disconected it and after I had the lift installed loosed the flexible part and extended it and it works perfect.

Well I installed the lift today. It was a real pain but it was worth it. I'll post pictures tomorrow when I weld up some bumpers for the beast
