1999 Blazer 2dr. build, nothing fancy
My youngest bought a 99 2dr 4wd blazer 120k when he turned 16. He drove if for two years and then borrowed my new Canyon for Prom. I drove his blazer that night and heard the engine knocking. He really liked it and he is going away to college out of state next year so he needed something reliable. After car shopping for a week, we decided to build the Blazer he likes so well. We had already put a great deal of money in a new radiator, new AC, and sound system. So now we have done..
Rebuilt top and bottom end on motor, rebuilt tranny, new ball joints, wheel bearings, rotors and brakes up front. New quarter panels welded in front of the rear wheels and then bedliner around the bottom of the exterior. Roof rack, new 31" tires with different wheels.
We are working on installing rear tail light guard install, an oil change, rear end oil change and fuel filter change this weekend. Several more days of work and we will be done. I have pics to post. I will also need lot of advice, thats why we are here.
