You can run it to the back and through the lining but mine is just zip tied to the side and running through the door frame, it doesn't look perfect but it works

well my jimmy is currently in the shop getting the drivers side cv axle repalced, but im very close to finishing my roof rack, just need to weld a little more, grind, then its painting time! this is what i got so far... and does anyone have a DIY winch plate thread? I found my Grandpas old winch and i wanted to mount it to my front end?

this is a front view

here is the side

its made of 1 inch square tubing, 1/8th inch thick, this stuff is bulletproof, im guessing so far it weighs about 60 pounds which isnt too bad. I just cant wait to be finished with it but as it is with most people i have a huge list of stuff to do but not enough money....

Thanks man, yeah I'm pumped to get it on! Do most you guys use u-bolts to mount it to your factory rack? Or do you use something else?

Well here in northeast nebraska we got about 2 inch of pea to grape sized hail and 5 inches of rain in less than a hour, and guess what I was driving in the middle of it, I was going about 15 mph in 4wd in about a foot and a half of water for 4 miles and thank God I had a lift or otherwise I'd be vacuuming water from my jimmy haha I have never seen it this bad before
