must be nice. the closest car wash is about 30 mins from me so i always just do it in the drive way.

So we both have benefits and issues with the wash then, haha. I live in a condo, so there's not really any way I can hand wash at home.

Sounds like a loose wire somewhere if all of your fuses are good.

ive checked all the wire in the tail gate and the switch and there all good

my next step would be to check or replace the actual release motor or switch or whatever is back there that gets activated by the button to release the hatch.

Did you verify you have power at the switch back there?

easy way to check for power and or help get to everything is to take the two bolts that hold the handle of the glass to the bar the latch grabs off, then open glass and tail gate pull plastic off tale gate and look, i just had the same problem ended up being that the window had been pushed to far and wouldn't let go of the window.
