no it's door molding. To cover the raw edge from it being cut.
Edit: I have a picture from him getting stuck. The air intake is RIGHT at his headlight. Sucked it up like a siv. He was dead for a good 4 hours before we got it up and running again. Luckily he only had to replace a sensor the starter and a motor mount. It was so far up into his truck that it fried one of his door speakers. So a snorkel is good for him. It was either that or a lift and he doesn't have the money for that right now.

Looks great, I will eventually have a snorkel too!! but I NEED some of the door molding used on the hole in the fender for my bumper mods! WHAT IS IT, WHERE CAN I GET IT? BTW LOWE'S SUCKS

Also, would there be room enough inside the fender to run the piping back farther before coming out? I was thinking right in front of &/or on top of the front window pillar...

It's just that thin molding you run down the door to protect the edges. We got it at pep boys but I'm pretty sure any auto parts place would have it. It's a pita to work with but it does the job.
Edit to answer your question below: There probably would be with 2 inch piping. We measured it and there's 3 inches of clearance inside the fender. But he wanted his the way we did it so he wouldn't have to move the horn (or whatever it is) that's mounted inside the fender.

lol this is true...The dude who's explorer we did tried to do that with his but there was no way it was working. That and the molding has sticky glue running down the center so it holds a bit better.

I will be getting some very soon then, thanks! I couldn't figure out what i was going to use, but I knew that fuel line had to come off! (I still have to take the bump mods off and do an official clean up and a little more cutting)

Just looked at your bumper mods...What did you get that bumper off of? Looks good so far

It is a Smittybilt SRC JK Front Bumper w/ Winch Mount, for the new JK Jeep Wranglers, I had my local steel shop weld up some custom mounts that bolt to the frame...
