Well I have some bad news. Went to put the calipers on and they are alot smaller then whats on there now. Theres no place for it to bolt up. They are meant for a 97 blazer 4x4, which I thought was the same thing as my bravada. Before I bought the calipers I cross referenced the stock calipers to the blazer and they were the same on both trucks. Maybe im wrong? I need a picture of a 97 blazer 4x4 front brake setup. I put a pic request thread up in technical.

Good news is I got the wheels on, looks really sharp. Did the rails and suspension parts and painted the stock calipers black for the time being. Will post pics later on.

Do you already have dual piston calipers up front? The Bravada might have gotten this setup earlier than the rest of the lineup.

Yea, I already have duals up front. That did cross my mine, but when I cross referenced stock calipers, the 97 blazer had some of the same dual piston caliper options. Maybe thats the case here. They are meant for a single caliper setup. Probably the reason they are so small.

Edit: Well called ssbc and thats the case. These are meant to convert the single piston to dual piston. Told them that this should be posted in there discription. He did agree, he told me towards the end of the year some 97 blazers came with the upgraded dual piston caliper. Well this blows, guess these will be going back. I wonder what it will take to run corvette calipers on a 4x4?

that sucks royaly Luis.

did SSBC say anything about getting you the right calipers for your truck?

i presume you're getting a full refund (minus S/H of course) but do they offer calipers for a truck that already has the dual piston set-up?

Nope. They dont make a caliper upgrade for the dual piston calipers. They do sell a big brake upgrade but that runs $1800.00 which is seriously not worth it. I will just be buying new stock replacements and having them powdercoated black. With the brembo slotted rotors and hawk pads, it should stop better then stock.

Well finally got the time to replace the calipers and rotors. New OEM Calipers powdercoated black and Brembo Rotors.

Just one pic of the truck. Should have better pics soon.

Those wheels look amazing on your Bravada, perfect match with wheel color for the truck... aka not too much black or too much chrome, a good balance if you will
