Needless to say I replaced the rotors also... Didnt take pics as Im sure all have seen a brake job lol...

Could be a sticking caliper.

Well when it rains it pours.... So Saturday night I get outta work head to fill up at the gas station..As Im about to leave. I try to start my blazer and its turning over but the engine wont engage..I see my battery seems to be dieing so I try to have it jump started no go..in the end had to have it towed home. Checked around on here and found a thread that gave me a run down to check..Have pretty much figured it to be the fuel pump... im getting no fuel pressure from the valve up by the carb...I dont hear the pump motor going at all when I put the key in the on position. So have to grab a new one and try to install it on my day off next Sunday..Figure while Im at it dropping the fuel tank I will get my shackles on and crank the T-Bolts...Just hope it only turns out to be the fuel pump...

instead of guessing why dont you diagnose it ?

do you have power going to the pumps harness?

have you tryed swapping relays

Edit: an other way to find out its the pump is by banging on the tank ... sometimes the pump would work again

also you dont have a carb its the throttle body

I swapped the relay over for the one in my ex gf 2000 blazer that works and put mine in hers..Her Blazer still started mine didnt..I also tried banging on the tank as I seen mentioned on another site..Didnt make any change..Checked fuel pressure and there was really none..Sprayed engine starter fluid direct into throttle body seemed to want to engage better but didnt go...yeah my mistake I ment Throttle body..Had just installed a new Carb on my 64 Impala today also..So my mind is kinda twisted with all that has gone wrong in the last 2 weeks...

lol no worry your best bet to to pull the connector from the top of the pump and check for power if you have power there its possibly the pump

but id make sure before dropping the tank.... its some job
also make sure you go with oem replacements only delphi or delco if the pumps bad

Cool thanks for that info ..I will be sure to check that before I drop the tank....
Ok I`ll swing by the dealership to get the replacement if it is the pump...good to know as I was gonna hit up O`Rielys or Autozone.... But I need to grab rear bushings for the leaf springs also..Autozone and O`Rielys didnt have the parts on the computer and both said check the dealership..

You can buy the Delphi or Delco pumps anywhere, don't have to severely overpay at the dealership for them. Just make sure you only get one of those two.
