Been working on wet sanding and buffing it this week. fun fun...
Got a phone call from a customer recently, he asked if I knew anyone that wanted to buy his 1993 S10 Blazer. He was looking for $400. I said Ill give him $250 right now. So I did, and drove home my new truck. Power everything and complete dash. GREAT parts truck, now I can get my dash back together!!

Oh and it has a good running CPI L35 4.3 V6. heh

That looks an awful lot like a member's truck here... That dent sort of rang a bell.

You can probably get a good buck for a few parts off that truck too.

So I worked on reassembling the truck today. Lots of little issues with trying to make an 85 seem like a 1992. For example, the 92 has fender baffles, the 85 has no holes for them.

Swapping over the wiper assembly seems easy enough. Di you know that the bolts on the newer trucks are larger diameter than the bolts used on the older trucks? Yup, had to drill out the holes.

I got all the front end parts installed for what I would like to think is the last time. By front end parts I mean... fenders, grille, bumper, flares, hood, lights, etc Plus all the mounting hardware for everything was finally installed. A special thanks to my parts truck for donating so many small parts, nuts and bolts. heh

If you looked closely at those pictures you can see I had also installed the door handles. They actually look a lot better than I thought they would! I am very pleased!

It sure is looking blue under the hood now... I like it!

Twins? heh. The 2wd sure sits higher than the 4x4.

The guy I bought it from didn't have a computer. Pretty poor guy honestly.

I plan to sell off a few goodies from it.

Your truck looks better and better everyday. I'd take your jimmy over a typhoon/syclone any day. Not just because of the v8, the paint job looks amazing, great job on it.

As many times as Greg has taken that truck apart and put it back together, I bet he could reassemble it blindfolded and in his sleep!!!

It's lookin good!
