A search of this forum, the s10 forum, or a general Google search will easily steer you to multiple build threads and aftermarket sites that will cater to the information and parts you are seeking...

 

Gee why didn't I think of Google or searching the forum.
Oh wait cause forum searches never find what I want plus I wanted some fresh input from you guys on your most recent experiences.
Also I did search and all I found was LS1 crap a couple months ago, thanks but no thanks. I'm looking for less computer junk, and lots of ACdelco chrome!!!! ��

 

What they are saying is if you can't find the answers to your questions with those search functions you aren't searching very hard and honestly you don't have to look very hard to find it anyway. People have been doing what you are asking since they started making these trucks. There are several forums that are dedicated to nothing but v8 swaps in s10s!
