Oh lord

abig84 11-04-2010 08:00 PM

pretty cool. hows the turning on it? in that one picture it looks like the axle is tipped upward

SgtJimmy 11-04-2010 08:52 PM

Turns great , drives great . only probem I have right now is I set all my bump stops for 37" tires and since I stepped up to the 39.5's I have some clearance issues to deal with.... like turning to full lock and stuffing a tire in to the inner fender .....

Wow man.... How did I miss this??? This is freaking amazing...

wow i plan on doing the very same thing, ive had my blazer for about a year now, and i plan on picking up a mid 90's half tonor 3/4ton truck and swap the whole powertrain over.

when you installed the rear axle, how many extra leafs did you add?

also is it more worth it to switch to a front solid axle? vs keeping it IFS?

SgtJimmy 11-10-2010 07:47 PM

I added two leafs I believe , both from a full size Z-71 pack .

Ditch the IFS , for what it costs to SAS vs. IFS take the money you save and buy rims and tires .

I really thinking about 4 linking the front of mine and getting rid of the front leafs. I'm having alot of trouble with my front drive shaft and the shackle reversal.

Nice one!

BIGDAVEEVADGIB 04-11-2011 04:35 PM
