Still need to order a bigger sway bar up front but we have a VERY limited options and make custom mounts (extended mounting points) and make some new end links at my friends shop. How are your procomp 2" leafs working out? Is it a whole pack or was it actual add a leafs? And was there any sag down the road? Im looking at replacing my jacked up ones down the road after I extended the REAR driveshaft :/
I just did a single long Add-a-Leaf, although I'm going to end up having to replace the whole pack sooner or later. The AAL helped a lot with the initial saggy back end, and firmed up the ride very nicely, but now after 4 years the original main leaf is really bowed beyond the add-a-leaf. When I first put the leaf in it lifted the back end about 3 inches, which settled to around 2.5 after a couple of weeks. Over time that's continued to settle (or rather warp the main leaf) so now I'm sitting around 1.5" over stock. It still sits pretty much level with my front end with the t-bars turned up 1.5". I'm pretty sure that the loss in height is primarily from the main leaf deforming rather than the AAL settling more.

Hey first of all, that's a good looking truck. Really like it!

Secondly, is there any chance you could snap a pic sometime of how you've modded that bushguard to fit with the lift? Mine's getting a BL in the spring and I'm thinking lifting the bushguard might be the only tough part.

It the stock driveshaft at its limits in the tranny. Any further lift I add and Im going to have to have it extended atleast 2'' to be safe.

Thanks man! I didnt have to mod it at all since its all suspension. Its more than likely the same as yours. (two brackets on the frame and the two stabilizer brackets that bolt to where the bump goes coming through underneath the grille.) Which brand cowl hood did you get? Is it fiberglass or metal? I remember drooling over yours when I saw the pics up on the main page SUPER clean.

Thanks gitch! Really hoping I can get TOTM soon!

Ahhh darn. Yeah mine mounts onto the frame where the tow hooks would normally go. Going to have to fab up some brackets to move it up with the bumper when I do the body lift.

It's a Goodmark cowl hood. All steel thankfully. You can see all the styles they offer in LMC Truck's online catalog.

Thanks for the compliments, I'm sure we'll see you in the ROTM section pretty soon!

My brush guard mounts where the tow hooks go and I had to put two, one inch square metal tubes about 4 inches long in each one, a very tight spot to get in to put the nuts on but it brought it up enough to clear the bumper, any questions you can ask me, not trying to highjack your build adam.
