Here I go again...After taking a 96 as far as it could go(rust) 4 years ago I swapped all good parts onto a low milage 97. This unit has been flawless and dead reliable! Now at 210k after I hit a deer and replaced the affected parts it doesn't look right, and as with any 16 year old car,its time may have come. Still runs first rate, but the body is failing, the deer strike also messed up the RF door hinges and the hood dosn't close securely either. Looks like its time for another Blazer/Jimmy as I still have SO many parts!
Found two locally: A Diamond edition with 240k and a bad trans and a city impound with only 118k. Both of these units are red&silver. This almost seems too good to be true, but my wife is righto I really want to get into this again? These cars are so obsolete but I can easily work on them, and they are extremely uncomfortable as well.
The Envoys have gotten bad press, but found a nice 09 with 60k for $14K! That to me is retarded,so I don't want to jump into that(of course the wife does) These S-T units suck but they are so damn reliable.... What do you think?
