This was my mistake

I was suppose to wire them like this. Instead i did separate grounds and powers

 

Ya 12V to each led, don't make led too happy!

 

yup jason it was a rookie mistake

well today i tested them on the truck and i have a video for you guys

I need to fix a few bugs in my design but so far so good

the camera does not show how bright the way i see them but its close enough =P

and i made my own 1157 plug



One of the bugs are that the leds wont power up with the truck off .. but i think im going to have to live with that

 

Dude, those tails look awesome!!! Im interested in doing something similar on my new Illverado! Ill be reading more closely at your work for that.

Do they work properly when you are holding the brake, and signalling?
