Minus the other lights that had wiring issues, how many manhours did it take you to wire that one taillight?

 

so far i spent the same amount of hours as the other one

now i need to order more leds and tails to finish this project
but that wont be happening any time soon

yea maybe on a rainy day ill open office and do a nice how to on it

 

And do you know exactly how many led's are used on 1 taillight?

 

I had 94 but i deleted 11 to make them brighter soo 84 each tail

94 was draining to much power 84 is still a lot since they only power up with the truck running sadly

they are very dim with the truck off nor noticeable

 

You gonna do the big 3 and an alternator upgrade?

 

done that a long time ago =P I will upgrade the alternator tho

 

I've seen someone have dual alternators too. Might be an option. Or just get a high output or alternator upgrade.

 

The problem isn't that they draw too much power. It's that you had (or have) too many leds in series, and not enough series's in parallel. I promise you that your leds draw much less power than your stock bulbs.
