Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. A lot of the guys I've asked about parts on these forums haven't been much help. I'd say that I can't wait to see yours finished, but seeing all the work you've put into it so far, I don't think it's going to be finished; the best rigs never are. The whole reason why we do what we do to these trucks is to improve them, and the best builders are always finding things to improve on. Good luck man.

 

SO the fuel pump crapped out on me this morning. IM hoping that was the leak down issue.

I checked the whole electrical system and every thing checks out good. banged the tank with an hammer but the pump still dont kick on. My truck gave me the best birthday present ever. * Drop my tank*

 

Installed this today 850 CCA MY dad stole my 800 CCA cause is crapped out... I Like this battery cause it gives me the option to convert to top terminal in the future.

Im going to be ordering a pump soon hopefully. I couldnt get my old one to kick on sadly... I banged the **** out of the tank and she would not kick on.

 

At least be glad its not the 300.00 spider..

 

I rather change the spider... But I bought a delphi pump for 195...

I had a spider for 200 on the dot too and it was delco.

 

Got the fuel pump today.

well i hope that your install is quick and as painless as possible...i am already dreading the day that i have to do mine. but i only have 105k on mine and its been changed once. so i hope that it will last a few more years. *fingers crossed*

 

Changed the fuel pump SHES Running again.. BUT im still lacking power...

Did a leak down and shes dropping to 40 psi within 10 mins... Spider change here I come.
IM sure glad shes running again. Hopefully I change this spider soon so I can start modding again this spring.

I changed the spider 2 years ago.. Not sure man.. Just my luck I guess.

wanna know something else that was funny ? The fuel pump crapped out the day I was going to do a leakdown from the filter to figure out if it was my spider leaking or the pump.
