I've got a 1970's Blazer with a removable hard top that has been sitting in the back yard for a number of years. Debating what to do with it. Will someone please tell me how long tires can sit in the elements unused and still be safe? They have a good bit of tread on them. I'll post some pictures soon. Thanks for the add.

Check the tires for dry-rotting (small cracks on the sidewalls) If its been outside for more than 6 years and you plan on driving the truck home, you should likely be extremely cautious and drive slow.

Thank you. I'm not really trusting the tires. The Blazer is no where near ready to run. I was considering selling them to facilitate other projects. I just don't want to have some poor soul have a blowout because I wanted to make a few bucks.
