She's Been Sitting. . . Now What??
OK, here is the story. I am in the Army and currently deployed to Iraq (coming home in 6 weeks). Seeing as I am not home the wife decided to spend the summer up north in Michigan. The whole time she has been in Michigan my Blazer has been sitting. I told her that I would like her to drive it some as soon as she gets back to Fort Riley. At that time it would have sat for about three months. Is there anything I should be worried about when she gets home and should she do anything different when she first starts it up for a drive? She disconnected the battery before she left, but that is about it. As soon as I get back she is going to be getting a lot of TLC. The Blazer not the wife
if it starts right and drives fine when she gets to it you shouldnt have anything major to worry about, but once you get back i would suggest atleast changing the oil and to check everything over just to be sure everything is up to par.
