I have them covered most of the time... I'm thinking about taking the rack off for the winter I'm thinking it'll be a pain trying to get the snow out of the basket

haha its pretty much impossible to drive fast in my blazer. Fastest I ever get it is maybe 80

no comment haha. my grandma got pulled over for doing 90 with me in the backseat ha. anyways... basket off for winter is probably a good idea. i hated getting snow out from between the crossmembers, i can't imagine the basket too

I thought about that too, but i think winter is the time I need my rooflights the most, so I'll keep it...

Not to mention I do a long trip in january, so I need it anyways...

the roofs lights make it harder to see when its snowing or raining out

OOO yea. I tried last weekend in out blizzard. Sucked. I wanna put some by the tow hooks or down there somehow. But tough enough to be driven through snowbanks and such.

They have to be UNDER your line of sight. As close to the ground as possible.

pj has the lights I have mounted on his bumper maybe you could do that?
