moved my cb antenna mount today. hopefully this one won't break.. this is like my 4th one. darn truck stop doesn't have any flexible ones




^^ had to hold it back with my foot... my driveway isn't level haha

18 foot cable was barely long enough. I made it work thou

Nice! Best of luck with the new antenna. BTW- awesome kicks! I used to have a pair like that. Wore them until the day one of the soles finally fell apart like 4 years after I bought them lol.

mine are about 2 years old still hanging in there. I used to think they were dumb untill my girlfriend told me to get a pair they are my favorite shoes in the summer anyway... my feet get cold in the winter haha

You didn't have to run a ground wire from the antenna mount to the body?
I put mine on the spare tire carrier and had to run a ground wire. I Just couldn't get a good ground mounting it there.

no I didn't have a problem. how do you ground the antenna?

Now that you've had your spare tire carrier on the back for several weeks, do you notice and bowing out on that rear 1/4 pannel? I'm really wanting to do the same thing on mine.

nah the quarter panel is holding up good. The tire rack is a good ladder to climb on the roof too. I don't think the quarter panel will get weird unless you have your rack hanging out unlatched for a long time even then it still shouldn't get too weird there are 6 bolts holding it on, remember I have my bolts on the metal inside along with the quater pannel metal so its pretty enforced. I believe I used 3-4 inch bolts I forget exactly what I used...
