I'm confused because the original point of this thread was to make your Blazer look like a Typhoon. A Typhoon only ever came in 1st gen body style and was only made for 2 years.
The xtreme is something totally different and came in 2nd gen body style. I said I was confused because they are two completely different things. They are in no way the same and look completely different. I had said that you can't make a 2nd gen blazer (which you have) look like a Typhoon because they didn't exist. I'm not trying to be a douche, just trying to get what you're looking for straight since you're going in two different directions.
If you want an xtreme look for the love of all things good please buy a 2WD and put it on. An xtreme 4x4 would look pretty terrible without lowering it, and even then lowering a 4x4 is in no way easy or cheap. You're probably only going to get a 3" drop out of it too. The whole point of adding a body kit is to make it look lower which completely defeats the purpose of a 4x4. Just my 2 cents..

Qtips: I meant in this case, the 4 door is the least modable because the body kits are all catered to the 2 dr. Xtreme kits are for 2 drs, typhoons were the same way. hell even the zr2 flares are geared toward the 2 door style.
Does that make more sense?

Not sure if anyone had posted this build before or not, but they are doing a 4dr xtreme over of S10F.

Hmmm...my bad. I didnt notice that. I didn't go far enough into the build lol. Oh well, my point still remains that it has been tried before and is possible to have a 4dr xtreme

One of the guys on this forum had posted video ( on youtube ), that shows his turbo charged 4 door running good times in the quarter mile, and I also noticed it looks like he's running factory corvette wheels on it. Some of the Corvette wheels have the same back spacing all around, but some are front offset, and rear offset. I am planning on running a set of Corvette 'sawblades' in the spring, to give the wheels a similar look to the Typhoon. I have not found a set to confirm steering clearances, but soon.

I think that's UR50SLO. I know he has a 2nd Gen 4WD Jimmy running a Typhoon turbo system. His wife is running it to low 14's in the 1/4.

Later, Doug
