So got some cool stuff done with the blazer. after blowing a rear caliper decided to go ahead with the rear end swap. Its a zr2 rear, custom bastard packs, and performance brakes, I tow 4-5k with it frequently so needed a upgrade. Got my custom front bumper on, new ac dryer and lines, and some little things like weathertechs for the front and mounted my CB. Soon to come hopefully some paint work, and on to figuring out my front suspension.

Really leveled it out, has a slight rake now. Tires are 32" MT btw

Cleaned it up a lil bit before i put it in. Stock brake lines fit, stock non zr2 sway bar fits. Cant drive it yet still waiting on brake parts 😥

Got 7 springs in the pack now, running rough country lift shocks, so i can always be riding in rough country...

Put on some MSD 8.5 wires after my accels became problematic, got a new k&n filter. and got some new ac parts in it

Finally got the new bumper done, used a blazer rear frame chunk as the bottom piece and put a hitch on it. Still just gotta throw the hooks on.

That's a zr2 rear axle you say? Mind taking some straight down the side pics? Been wanting to see one on a 4 door to see where the tires line up. Got spacers on mine, but I'm not liking it...

Nice. I heard those weather techs interfere with the gas pedal in our trucks. Have you had that issue?

First, wont be able to get some pics for about a week(won't be around the truck).

The zr2 rear isnt too bad i believe about 7" wider than stock 2wd rear. I flipped my rims for the moment to make the backspacing appropriate,(11" wide rim, lots of backspace) with stock rims though they look pretty good on there. Maybe 1.5- 2 inches past the body

The weather techs are awesome, no issues with the pedal interfering so far, and they do fit the 2wd floor pan fine(some say otherwise)

Here you go DonL,

With 11.5" wide mud terrains.

IMO way too much. these made the tires stick out with a 2wd axle... These are 15x11 black rock rims

And heres with a stock 2wd blazer rim and tire

looks good with a stock rim, i think it would be perfect(especially with flairs...)

Also got her driving, the 3.73 gears are a nice improvement, and the stock driveshaft bolts right up.

That's exactly what I've been looking for! Thank you sir. That will eliminate my use of spacers.

Default 5 speed time

Well the ol 4l60e is well on its way to the junkyard, so ive been on the hunt for a manual for a while. Just snagged this baby up. Smooth shifting nv3500, with almost everything to get it driving. Hope to finish the conversion into a manual in the next month, i will be sure to do a start to finish write up on how to do the swap. Also managed to get flares(not zr2s but still), those will defiently find there way on there in the near future. Also managed to finish re painting my hood, came out pretty good for an amateur job.
Althought What was probably cooler was talking to the guy i bought the trans from, he had built a turbo 4.3 pushing 600 hp in his s10, what LS killing dreams are made of. These motors sound great with a cam and boost

Here she is in all her oxidized glory... But all new/newer clutch parts

Got an s10 console and had to throw the shifter in there for a test fit, if nothing else i can tell people you can pick from auto or manual 😆

Anyone care to guess how i painted this? It looks better in real life than the potato pic i took.
