dont worry about it rex, i think i may have burned out both my relays by somehow sending power straight to them and burning a toggle switch.

and rich i hardly work on this thing now sadly and worse is the fact that i'm probably going to sell it soon.

just been fixing things that i either messed up on or could do better, front shock towers need to be moved up and the mounts need to be moved on front and rear. and redo the waggy springs and add a leaf/center pin/replace bushings etc.

basically with school/work and not having leftover money to go toward it and time has burnt me out. been looking at a few crewcabs, love to have a truck or a colorado/canyon. and if all else fails ill just start to drive it and get rid of the axles and get a d60/11.5 and look for a 5.3 and cut the top off the back. lot of stuff going on and now i dont really care too much even working on the blazer. kinda sucks.

but otherwords, anyone know anything good/bad about the chevy/gmc colorados/canyons? I'd rather have a review of them from someone who has driven or done anything to them and know their quirks etc. I dont take edmunds reviews serious but been looking on 355nation at builds on the colorado forums.

I hear ya man! Time and money are a killer for everyone these days. I am so close to mine being drivable (bleed the brakes, move the rear axle forward, finish drilling a hole in this damn pitman arm, and weld up the drag link) and it will be drivable but its just been so hot and I have been so busy at work and trying to save for vacation in a month has just left me so burned out on it even tho I am so fricken close I'm just over it for a few days lol! My vote is you keep it and swap a 5.3 in it. That's my plan for next winter if I can afford it given my buddy just asked me to be his best man and the wedding consists of a 7 day cruise to the Bahamas!

So this goes way back to the blue blazer, where did you get the paint to make the bowtie blue? I tried the same thing but all I had was a tiny *** scratch repair brush so I couldn't get a nice smooth coat on and it looks like crap.

Well haven't really done anything to the truck besides but the wagoneer leafs on and with that I still need to add a few leafs to the pack. I need to redo my 4x4 shifter since i hacked it. Should have took my time but instead i have a cut up carpet and a hole in my floor. You live you learn. Other than that if things go right myself and brother in-law and his buddy are heading down to Tuttle on August 30th and 31st. And since we've already tried to go 3 separate times but either failed to have a tow rig or a trailer we now have our friends Duramax (unless that falls through!) and we'll rent someone's trailer. And then depending on how the trip goes, I am more than likely going to sell the truck to fund a crew cab which I'll build and do it right. There are a few things that I rushed on this project and am redoing, nothing major but enough to make me realize that I need to slow down in a lot of aspects in my life. And the funny thing is I constantly read the phrase "take your time," when researching your swap.

So with that, since my last job switch I've got a good amount of my bills paid off and then at the end of the month I switch to a Correctional officer job at Tecumseh state correctional institute (NEB).

Thanks for reading, hope to see some of you at tuttle if things go right this time

Glad to hear things are going your way with work and bills. Got any pics of your rear shock setup? I'm debating going inboard or outboard with the rears and just wanting to see all options.

I have the older 78 f250 shock towers bolted on the outside of the frame inside the wheel well and don't have any tire contact.

here is how they were when i first mocked them up, they are just bolted on right now with grade 8 of course.
