and thanks for the sub tip, is that just bc the sound waves would bounce off the hatch, and not travel until they hit a wall/seat, like they are currently in my truck? *bc when i have the seats up vs down, they are a lot louder.
I know thats why I was suprised myself when I saw it. When the subs are faced back the subs bounce off the back hatch and reflect the sound through out the whole truck and it becomes heard better. The sound is being blocked and not reflected when the seat is up with the subs facing forward. The only time anything is louder facing forward ive ever found is when ive built a few walls because it closes off the sound to the rest of the vehicle and it travels to the front of the car/truck and then reflect off the wall etc. Also deeper bassnotes will become louder facing backwards for the fact of a deeper bass note has a longer wavelength and travels more

Edit: Can you post a pic of how your front axles (cv's) are angled with your lift? Thanks!

Hey guys sorry I haven't gotten any updates etc on the build just been busy at my new job, and Paul I should have those pics up today but not promising, however on the good note, I am getting ready to buy some axles for the SAS Saturday, hopefully it goes through, here is the dets on those:

Rear is a 14 bolt ff (full floating) with 4.10 gears
Front is the HD dana 44 with 4.10 is what I'm told, as well as big hubs. We'll see if that is true, I'm getting them from a 76' chevy for 250$ such a steal but we will see how it goes.

Any way i gotta go see what this hose is above the transmission right before the transfer case

sorry guys, i jumped over to the s10forum and abandon this one, ill try to keep u updated or you can just go over there, its under 98 4dr 14bolt is the build title, so here is some pics to keep you updated, btw i dont have my truck its out of comission for a bit bc it wont start anymore. PICS!!!

14bolt rear and HD44 front, it will be a HP dana60 when i find one

my cleaner interior, i will be ditching the rear seats and putting a racing type seat with a better harness offset a bit and than where the old seats where it will be a compartment type thing

the massive 40/17/16.5 tires, thats why i need a D60,

i actually sold those a while back, and the build is on the back burner because i fired my wiring and am parting the truck out, but bought a 2001 blazer silver fully loaded and will be SASing it soon, just need money right now.

well back for a bit ill be updating this junk on here, so here is the jits guts and bits: it is now a 2001 4dr silver blazer, destroyed the wiring on the blue one so scraped it and bought a smashed 2001, transferred parts over and blah blah

Currently ORD leaf kit
14bolt 5.13 welded rear disk convs
HP D44 5.13 open ford front
SOA F/R
High steer arms with .250 DOM (not started just have the arms)
Astro van steering box
n/a shocks
custom Driveshafts
36.5/14/16.5 on ford rims, have humvee beadlocks as well
So far it hasnt started but once i get the steer arms, driveshaft made, i iwll have it done, the teardown is about 8hours with the rebuild about 3-7 days depending on work what not.
will keep the Tcase for now, than go to a manual 233 or 231, idk yet. and the rest is history
