Default custom bumper and sliders

alright ive been thinking of making a custom bumper for a while and ive finally got the stuff to build it. ive also been working on a set of custom one of a kind rock sliders lol. the bumper will be built from 1/4 inch plate steel i went and got 21 feet of 6x1/4 inch today hopefully it will be enough. the sliders are about half way done and will be built from 1.25 inch tubing. they will look like any other slider except i plan on making the back part behind the door wrap up around the rocker panel for rocker protection.
here is exactly like i want the bumper to look like without the hoops around the lights.

ill have pictures of the sliders up later when i get a little bit more done to them

i went and baught used steel which has a bunch of surface rust and it cost me 45 dollars it was 36 cents to the pound.
if my bumper turns out good and its not to much of a pain to make then if somebody wanted i could probably make a couple of people one but i wouldnt have any way to ship it.

yeah, shipping always kills this kinda thing.
weight would be the killer.
i like the used steel idea...good budget trick.
for under 50 you cant go wrong.

Start in cardboard and tape until you get it where you like it. Don't do like my buddy did on his 2nd gen. Took the measurements for the winch off the website and only gave himself 1/2-1 inch around it. Turns out now his winch aint gonna fit in his winch bumper like planned. I suggest getting any lighte or do-dads you want in the bumper while its cardboard to make sure you have plenty of room. Easier to change cardboard to fit what you want then to settle on something that happens to fit or try to mod the steel to make it fit.

only thing im gonna add to it is the tubing up to the little hoop things to attach tow points to and two lights up top but im debating cutting a hole in the middle for air to blow on the oil filter and putting some expanded metal in their
