diggin the bar! but not to get off topic, what did you use for fender flares? I've heard of some using garden edge. Cops around here are pretty particular on wide wheels.

thx the stinger was a easy build and made it look good. for the flares i used garden plastic trim a roll was 6 bux and it did all 4 wheel wells. then i putchased some self tapping screws and went to work. came out good considering how cheap they were but it keeps local police happy and off my case.

so i decided to continue my aux oil cooler project that me and my friend came up with. i decided to go to his house and fix a few other things as well. i replaced my distributer for a new one as the main shaft was wore out, added the aux oil cooler, and take measurments for a custom drive shaft.
heres a pic of my buddys zr2 s10 whos inspired me alot as well

here the start of my oil cooler
we started of with a 3/8 thread to 3/8 barb and a 3/8 tap

then we drilled out the factory oil cooler block and taped new threads

then we added orange high temp teflon tape and threaded the barb fittings in

i then installed the oil cooler

we then installed the hydralic 3/8 hose with 3/8 turbo clamps then added a litre of oil and fired it up to check for leaks

ok so it was a few weeks since i did anything to the truck so i got my friend to get creative with his welder and create me a 7.6 diff armor skidplate cover. heres when he has part of it built

we then had to test fit it around the diff cover and grind it down some more.

after it was ground to fit he then got more creative when i left to go home and added some side walls and painted it gloss black. i will add a biohazzord symbol to the cover soon to keep with my zombie theme truck

here it is installed onto the housing. like a glove

NIce work gitch!!! Cove base works good for fender flares as well. I picked up a 120ft roll of 1/8in black rubber cove base off CL for $20. Have plenty left over for replacements if need be down the road. I need to learn how to weld gosh darnet!!! Soooooo many things a person can fabricate, especially since there's not a lot of stuff out there for Blazers n Jimmy's.
I just made these and put em on recently
