Default dual exhaust

the build is coming along now stumped at my exhaust im going with dual exhast and i dont quite understand the sizes yet the pakage is saying 2.25" of the diameter of the systeme and i was wondering how that fits to a 3" collecter will the neck of the systeme fit onto the neck of the headers?

Just take it into an exhaust shop, they can make a flange to mate them, or stretch your systems entrance to fit. It should only take the guy an hour to fab and install it, maybe cost you $100 bucks...

Do yourself a favor and buy header buddies from ebay for $20 and you will never have to worry about collector gaskets leaking, they come in all sizes needed to fit from your collectors to your exhaust size. I have a brand new set of them that go from 3" to 2.5" I would sell for $20 plus shipping I bought the wrong size. If you are doing exhaust i would do at least 2.5" anyway.

Do what I did and have the exhaust shop weld the pipes straight to the headers. Sure you will have to cut them off, but they aren't going to leak.
