This week I will begin to derust and paint my frame.
If the weather stays dry i still must seal my CB-Antenna and look for my vacuum hoses.
The 4x4 still donīt work.
The Transfer Case will lock in, but the vacuum actuator doesnīt work.
The membrane ist ok, I think ther must be any failure at the hosing.

The last weeks I donīt had any time to drive my Chevy or post anything.
Iīve got to much work and much more projects.

I help my buddys. One is a teacher or physics and astronomy wwith his sun system project, another is wreck diver and needs a flash light support frame for his camera and now there are the plannings for the winter examinations for the toolmaker-apprentices.

So, I donīt have enough time for miy Chevy.

But tomorrow I will mount new brake discs and pads.

Last weeks i measured my crankshaft pulley and drawed an underdrive pulley.
I changed the diameter from 195mm to 170mm and I hope it is not to little.

When I change the brake parts tomorrow, i will look for my 4x4 vacuum hoses too.

The brake parts are changed and tomorrow I get my aluminium for my underdrive pulley.
I will turn it with a diameter of 150mm.
In some books and catalogues the difference is indicated with 25 to 50%.
So the difference from 190mm to 150mm is circa 23%.

Then I will search some steel for my alternator pulley. For that I want to turn a pulley too.

I had ordered the body lift in the US.
In germany they are to expensive.
I saved about 100€ through buying it in the US, despite the high shipping costs.

Today, Iīve done some work.

Since I have my Blazer the trunk lamp flickers if I open my endgate.
So I disassembled my endgate today.

The Switch is like a little tube with a little rod inside, that falls down, when the endgate is opened, and closed the circuit.

I think on the end of this rod should be a little weight(?) to pull the rod down. But here was only a break.

So, I cut off the tube, cut a M10 thread, turned a tube for guidance and protection of the rod and turned a weight made of brass.

An hour ago, I assembled the Switch and it works well.
Costs: 0€
If I had bought the Switch it had costs 5€ and 30€ for shipping.
The shipping costs were to high in my opinion.

My rear door boards a broken in front of the armrest, so I dissambled them too.

I will fix them wit hard 0.5mm metal sheets and body adhesive.

I hope it works.

Edit:

I used the opportunity to spray cavity protection wax in my doors an the endgate, so that my Blazer is good Protected for the winter and the damned salt on the roads.
