I just installed the Manual Pull Posi Lock this past weekend. I got the chance to put it to use yesterday, works GREAT!!!!! I don't think I plugged the Vacuum line good enough though because when I went thru some mud, the truck ran like craup while it was still in 4 WHeel...As soon as I put it in two wheel and drove a couple feet, everything was fine.

But yeah, just wanted to let everyone know that it works great!!

Finally got around to painting the front Chrome. It looks a heck of a lot better. Also did the under body spray to the frame rails and wheel wells.

I also got around to removed the molding around the wheel wells.

Does anyone know how to get the lower portion of the front bumper off? I see a lot of you guys on here with it off and it looks so much better. I'm trying to get the truck ready for Uwharrie in two weeks so I would like to do that.

Also replaced a bunch of old rotten Vacuum lines under the hood. It's getting there.

Took some random pics while I was waiting for the first coat of paint to dry

Here is the after..I love how it looks now..I just want that plastic bottom bumper go..SOMEONE HELP AND TELL ME HOW!!!!

to remove the plastic valance you need to remove the black impact strip on top of it.
then your bumper will have that nice "dashed" hole pattern in it.
see if you can find a good bumper at the scrap yard off a base cheap s10 and then paint it up and toss it on...thats what i did....cost me 50 bucks.

ride is looking great btw

Awesome man, I'll try to get to the local scrap yard tomorrow.

And thanks, the truck is finally coming together.

Looking good, but please take parts off when you paint them... Overspray man, it sticks to everything no matter how much paper you use. That center part is really easy to take off - actually, its faster to take it off that to tape around it.

Alright, so got a couple things done this weekend. Actually some pretty big things. I finally found a nice set of Rims and Tires on Craigslist. THey are used but they have excellent tread on them. They are Sidewinder A/T's (They don't make the brand anymore but I believe they were made my General) I bought the Rims and Tires for $300, but come to find out the Rims don't fit!!! I was pretty pissed when I got home and tried them on. I'm selling them for $100 on Craigslist, not sure what size they are, they are just a little bit bigger than our stock size.

I also Changed out my Transfer Case fluid yesterday. I went to the Chevy dealership and payed $25 for 3 Quarts of Auto Trak II. Seems to be shifting A LOT smoother, can't wait to see how it does this weekend now.

Also removed the lower portion of my front bumper and undercoated the entire underbody. It looks a lot better, really makes the truck stick out.

But I'll be getting the tires mounted tomorrow so i can't wait to see how they look and everything. But here are some pics of everything now.

Here are the tires...You can't tell how good the tread is in this picture, this is actually one of the ones with the least amount of tread.

These are the rims that I bought with them..They are bad ***, sure do wish they fit.

Here is how the truck looks like now without the bottom portion of the bumper on..Looks good, I just have to paint the rest of it now.

I plan on getting a roof basket, so when that happens ill probably take the stock one off. But would I be able to spray tint the front turn signals? I'm not to sure what would happen if I tinted the Orange.

Are you saying paint the front part where the Chevy symbol is black also?
