Friar Truck
Got to work today painting.

"Before."

Tearing apart the front end was a lot more fun then I thought it would be.

I gotta find my putty and get to work on that bumper.

I ran out of masking tape so I used scotch tape and playing cards (cost $1).

Test fit...

Repainted the emblem the proper way.

I also finished cleaning all the headlights from spray paint (that came with the truck).

Don't mind Black Widow cup......

I painted this little thing too...
Tomorrow, or next nice day, I'm going to finish painting the rear bumper which I started tonight. Then I might start doing bodywork if I can find the putty (and if it's still good).
Hey, that would work

The heat has just been bad. I wish I could have an air conditioned garage to work on.... hahaha.
I finished painting the rear bumper, looks better from afar. I just need a new bumper, this one is rusting out and the black trim is cracked all over.

That doesn't look right...

Better

Everything was re-installed and is a huge improvement.
I also started on the body work... and I am not very good at bodywork...
I ran out of bondo and money, so the truck is going to look awful crappy for a while. This is my second bondo job so I am not that good, but it's good experience for me.

its an eye catcher for sure but looks alot better then when you got it lol but wooho im not the only one that went from a blazer to a s10 lol. as much as i enjoy the gas mileage from my 2.2 the absolute lack of power has made me consider moding a set on pedals in the floorboards and making some sort of sprocket to the rear axle to help me pass cars ...like a lance armstong passing gear...
not to put you down but ive drove 2 lifted blazers and 3 4 banger s10s and my blazers always got better mpg ...... I like your truck you should think about using plasti dip google it or watch videos its strong stuff
