German 98 Blazer build
I know you said cheap winch and you can get a superwinch and a Warn M8000 around $500 US. That was the route I was going until I found this:
Warn Industries - Ultimate Performance Series: PowerPlant HP
It even has kits that will allow you to plumb the vehicle for air lockers and air shocks. Ive seen these through dealers for under $1300 new. Seemed like the way to go for me. I know you had an old compressor motor you were trying to work with. Wasnt sure if you completed that. Space to mount things in a blazer are at a premium, this seemed pretty efficient.

If it were to pump against a closed valve for too long, it would heat up the water and potentially damage the pump, but so long as there is water flowing, it won't be a problem. You are actually using more power from the motor at wide open flow than you are when you reduce the flow.
Thanks guys. Just got a new job today, so i won`t have that much time anymore, but a lot more money. So i should be able to start with my onboard air system soon...
Went shopping again today:

All brackets cut:

This is how they`ll be mounted to the car:

Rear bracket:

Middle bracket:

Front bracket:

I talked to the owner of the shop where i bought the steel, he said he can bend some tube for me. Maybe i hire him to bend some outriggers for the sliders. Will have a look when they`re finished...

you could probably make a killing if you would hit up salvage yards and pull all the 4 door fender flares off you could find and then sell them on here. I know I would love to buy some but the blazers in the U.S didnt come with them. shipping may be high but I am sure there are plenty who would pay for it. I know I would. The flares would be cheap from a salvage yard so I really dont think the price would be too high and you could make some bucks on the side.
Well, at first we don`t have really salvage yards around here like it is in the USA and second, there are only a few blazer in germany. I`ve only seen about 4-5 driving around...
And if you find a guy who parts his blazer out, they want ridiculous high prices for them. But i keep looking...
