Steel:

-100x40x5mm rectangular tube, 362cm long
-60x60x4mm square tube, 230cm long
-100x6mm flat stock, 180cm long

that was about 140$ for the steel with good conditions...

Bolts, nuts, grinding wheels, welding sticks, etc. where about 60$...

So, I have about 200$ in them so far...

Hopefully we get good wheater on monday so i can bring out the spray gun. Should look great with all the new parts bedlinered instead of rusting...

EDIT:

Sprayed all my steel parts and the snorkel with bedliner today. The steel parts wire wheeled:

The snorkel prepped:

Ready for bedliner:

Finished:

I think it came out awesome.

Just don`t be that stupid like me and spray it in the garage without some protection for the garage. It`s some serious mess in there, i think my father is going to kill me...

And of course it started raining when the snorkel was sprayed. But i don`t think that hurts:

Snorkel finished. The scoop is not on it`s place, i just put it on to prevent the snorkel from rain:

Looks naked:

Can`t wait for tomorrow to put those part`s back on, i think it`ll look killer...

Just can't get it to line up? Have you used a liner punch to try to get it aligned while everything else is loosely installed? You could ream the hole with a drill if you can get one in there.
