Let me try to explain it:

Our next trip will be to italy. In italy there`s a law that says that if you have a load on your car that sticks out in the rear, you have to put that plate on. The german inspection office didn`t allow the swingout for my car, but the swingout is easy removable, so it`s considered a load in germany and legal for me...

So, i`m not sure if the italians consider the swingout as a part of the car or as a load. Since the fine for not having that plate is about 130$ i thought i`d better put on that plate...

I hope you guys understand what i wrote, it`s a bit hard for me to explain things like that in english...

Sounds pretty dumb (the law not your explanation) to me, but whatever you have to do I suppose.

Got some work done yesterday. Since there`s only one weekend left till our trip we made a to do list:

hen my buddy came over and brought me some ultra heavy duty rubber mat. This thing is about 1/2" thick...

lol 1/2" thick rubber thats pretty hard core. I like how u can pull the flaps up nice work.
