unless you wanna lose heat dont remove that box, you can just open it up and take out the evaporator if you really want to you might be able to find some cool way to fab it up to where you can still use the blower motor idk.

Body lift sounds good. Any idea what you are going to use yet?

Ok, body lift. Had a 3 inch bronco 2 lift laying around and decided to put it to use. Cut the blocks down to 2 inch. The kit had 8 12mm by 180mm bolts so I had to cut them down also ( blazer kit calls for 140mm), I need to buy 4 more bolts. No ext. brackaets at all so I fabbed them up also. Snuck around the electrical shop at work and found stuff to make them out of. Heres a couple of pics.
Firewall ground strap and loom ext

Frame ground strap. Hard to see, under rad hose

And remote oil filter ext, made from junction box cover plates. Very solid

So I went to buy 4 more 12 mm by 140 mm bolts, we dont stock that size, had to order them will be in wednesday morning. Putting all the body lift blocks in except front frame and rear frame. Think its safe to drive for a day, 10 miles maybe total?
