Blech, I hate inspection. Such a pain. However, it is nice every year when all 3 of my old cars "pass".

Man Tajohns wish I read your entire build thread earlier. I also purchased a pumpkin android radio and that round wire plug thing and also made a mount for where the cassette was but I used aluminum for my plate which I really don't care for much lol.

I plan on adding quite a few lights to my blazer and am going to create an android app that communicates with a microcontroller to control the lights.

That app idea would be awesome! There are a couple people on here that have that radio and might be able to use it.

Radio installed and it doesn't look too bad actually.

Picked up an entire steering column for the radio controls and the multi function switch. Also some dash speaker covers, headlight switch with fog switch, auto dimming rear view mirror, entire front bumper with plastic (I just need the plastic) and an overhead console.

The overhead console I messed up with, was removed when I went to pick it up and I didn't get all the pieces so I'll have to go back and get more parts or find another one

The rack looks really good. When you got the wheel with the radio controls, did you have to add anything additional or did it work with your stock wiring? I know how the steering wheel buttons work with the autopumpkin headunits but I don't know if the car is already wired for the steering wheel buttons.

I haven't wired it up yet but pretty much you just don't plug it into the factory wiring at all and just run the 2 wires that come down the column in a separate harness and connect them to the pumpkin radio with some extension wires. You could use the one wire that already goes from the steering wheel to the radio harness but I would choose to run both wires and not disturb the factory wiring at all.

From the factory the controls use 12 volts, the pumpkin radio only uses 5 volts.

Had to change the center hub also. Mine was shot anyway so at least I fixed my airbags at the same time
Also changed out the multifunction switch while I had everything apart.

Still working on this when I have free time / money but for the most part it has just been my daily driver. Putting about 80 miles on it a day, 5 days a week they are adding up. Anyway in the near future it'll be getting some new tires, some cheap off brand that a garage up here is selling. Not sure if I'm going with the stock 235 75 15s or some 31s. They have the 31s in a mud tread that might help a bit since I'll be making this drive once the snow starts to fly and i go out in the sticks where plowing isn't top priority lol.

Anyway I am going to also replace the shocks, the cheapos I put on allow to much sway and wobble for my liking, I'd rather the blazer be a little stiffer.

I'm wondering if these shocks are any good?
