So made a roof basket a couple weeks ago. Made the mounts to use the stock mounting bolts

had what I thought was a bad pinion bearing so went to rebuild it and turned out chipped pinion tooth and the carrier bearings were super shot and pinion could move in and out decided to replace the whole rear diff it was easier.

I like the roof rack! Could you post a few close up pics? I'm going to build one hopefully soon. I think I'm just going to mount it on top of the stock one though instead of replacing it.

I used 1” square tubing and diamond mesh for it and welded steel plates for the brackets and cut small chunks of conveyor belt to go between the mounts and the body. Me brother and I both were standing in it before we bolted it on and nothing gave and that was about 400lbs plus had to borrow a welder to do it but since then found a welder on sale so going to make sliders next

Thanks for the pics. That's about how I plan on building mine. I'm also planning on building sliders.

So got to use my new welder and made my rock sliders plus my daughter loves them as it creates steps for her to get in

I currently have my snorkel off and using the stock air box it’s too cold for the snorkel right now. I picked up a small cb gonna install it once I find a spare tire carrier to mount the antenna on.

So yesterday I ordered new rims through my work I’m getting a set of fuel Lethals 15x8 custom drilled to my bolt pattern with an offset of -16 and works out to about 4” bs which is about what I have now with my 2wd s10 steel rim should get them within 6 weeks
