Power folding mirrors were broken and yes had the chrome handles and I didn’t even check the ash tray so going back out now

 

can’t switch to the floor shifter or I loose my custom switch panel I put in place of the tape deck

 

I do have to say this is my first build I’ve ever done my self. I grew up in shops since I was a kid but never did my own vehicles

 

So I got my seats all installed and the power seats work and the memory function works but I can’t seem to get the heated part to work not sure if they are burnt out or what any ideas?

Did all my cv axles and ball joints and tie rods. Got the alignment done yesterday and feels like a new truck Gonna try to tackle the exhaust donuts today and figure out the heated seats

 

I went back out to the yard to get some stuff off the envoy someone was there and got the skid plate off the gas tank but I managed to get the deluxe overhead console with the home link and I got the ashtray delete and the seal for my back lift glass hard to find it for the ones with full liftgate

 

So had some issues yesterday with an ujoint squealing couldn’t get anywhere to grease them properly since it’s a tight fit to get to the nipple. Ended up buying my own grease gun and dropping the rear shaft and grease them up took it for a drive and still didn’t fix it. Turned out it was the front ujoint and the front driver shaft so had to drop it and grease that one. Anyone know the best nipples to put on so it’s easier to grease without dropping? I have a slight shake at highway speeds and everything is balanced and bearing are new any idea? The only thing I can think of is it might be my rear whee spacers

 

Fixed and changed a few things since my last update. My front diff was engaged so fixed that was easy just a sticky cable. Ran some heavier for my amp and a heavy 4 gauge wire to run my lights off of. Put a relay on my light bar and found out it was dying to replaced and updated it.

Then picked up some new tail lights yesterday and got them installed.


had some saw tooth wear on the edge of my tires read that it can happen with new tires on the front so rotated them and that’s when I found the diff engaged so thinking might be from driver with it like that

 

So an oil leak popped up awhile back was slow so didn’t bother me but now it’s turned out to leaving bigger puddles. And the sending unit on my new fuel pump that was put in a few months back has started failing in July and now just doesn’t read right when it does work. So picked up my warranty replacement today will be changing it tomorrow and the good news it’s almost empty and will be dropping my front diff to change the seals in my remote oil filter adapter not looking forward to that

 

Yes it’s a Delphi fuel pump so really not sure why the sending unit failed in the first one
