looks good man. i was wondering what engine mods your planning?
I would definitely take off any of the accessories that you dont need and get a different belt. and im sure since your already doing some cutting you could build a fairly nice snorkel style intake.

and finally does that rear end have a g80? cause if your not wanting to drop the dough on a locker or limited slip and your only gonna be driving it at the track you could always weld up your spider gears.

I i got to go pick up my axles today 450 for a set of 4.56 in zr2 housings detriot in the rear open front i already have the ac delete done. I cut the bottom out of the air box but i think some kind of snorkle would be better.

Rules state that i cant retune the motor and im not gonna drop the coin for a cam or heads on a 4.3 cause i cant tune the motor (moves me up a class) all that pretty much has to wait till i do a 350 vortec swap but first will be a sas but that is a while off. there are alot of rules.
Thanks for the intrest new up dates when i get home from pickin up the axle.

Went and got my axles today ran into a few issues but nothing that cant be fixed.

I got to have the front gears put in my old housing or the one i got fixed cause on of the ears is broke off. So if you know a gear guy round Omaha NE. Let me know.

Here is a pic of the truck the axles came out of see how that is sprung over? I cant run any lift or i got go to outlaw class and it is no fun if all ya ever do is lose. I dont mind losing just doing it all the time gets old. ya know So im gonna cut the spring perchers off move them back to the bottom hold them the best i can with the u bolts and have the cage guys weld them back up. Cause it has got to get to them if im gonna make tech. in one month.

Well got the 8.5 axle in but i ran into a new problem. Because the computer shuts down the truck at some thing like 100 and with the 4.56s i would guess that i am only going about seventy when it shuts down, so i got to get the computer reprogrammed. To shut the speed limiter off or if there is a another way I'm all ears.
