Hey yall, im jake. I've been stalking this website for about 5 years now always wanting my own blazer. now that im 21 i got a hold of a killer deal and bought one. Heres her story, in july of last year i had a friend with a 2004 cavalier that i bought for $450, they were going to let it go to the scrap yard because it needed brakes and a wheel bearing and had some body damage. So i snatched it up, fixed it and drove it. well in august my fiance got into a car accident that landed her in a wheelchair and the cavalier just wasnt cutting it. well in october when she finally got out of the hospital i put the cavi up for sale. Well one night as we were leaving the movie theatre a guy pulled out in front of us and i t-boned him. it was 100% his fault, no one was hurt, and his insurance company gave me a $3565 settlement. so the hunt to find a wheelchair friendly vehicle began, i had wanted a blazer since high school so i had her see if she could transfer into it by herself, BINGO! she got it first try and i bought it. Its a 2000 LS 4x4 4dr. I bought it for $3000 with a prior salvage title, KBB had it at $5500 so thats where we are today. Shes happy, im happy, and I have a free truck lol. I dont have any before pics but i pulled on off the internet of what mine looked like.
the second pic is mine, all i had was my brushguard, and my beacon i used during snow to pull out people. since then the truck has gone through some modifications, i will post pics of it tomorrow.
I also scored 5 31" bfg ATs with 75%+ tread for drumroll please............. $50! lol. my buddy was hard up for cash and said i could have them for fifty bucks so i bought them. On order this week is the 2.5" rough country lift, corvette servo, 4 pioneer speakers, kenwood head unit. and 4 pro comp 52 series wheels 15x8 4.5bs. stay tuned for updates and new pics!!!

ok so I started last night with my lift around 11pm. opened the box and guess what?! NO DIFF DROP BRACKET! So i just tore my truck apart figuring they would overnight ship one to me. quit around 3am. at 7am i called as soon as they opened and told them and they didnt hesitate to send me one. i am waiting on it to arrive hopefully tomorrow morning sometime. But the rear is completely done and the diff is almost out just ran into some siezed up bolts (YAY!) got pissed, went to class and now im home ready to get some recovery sleep from my 3 whole hours of sleep last night lol. PICTURE TIME!!!!!!!!!
