It has really bad hesitation/stumble when you slam on the gas. If I accelerate slowly it doesn't do it. I started with running fuel infector cleaner, drove it for around 100 km but didn't help. It had been sitting in a field for who knows how long so I though I should replace the fuel filter anyway. I replaced the fuel filter last night (actually had to replace the line with one from the parts truck since the filter was rusted on the line) but that didn't help either. I'm going to check the plugs next and I've been doing some research on other possibilities. So far I've found the temp sensor or cat could be possible causes.

It's not throwing any codes so I don't have any clues as to what the problem might be. I just know that it doesn't seem to be getting enough gas when you push the pedal down all the way.

And to top it all off the power steering hose started leaking recently. This thing is starting to frustrate me.

I would replace the throttle position sensor (TPS) That's what it sounds like to me. And its a cheap easy fix. Hope ya get it figured out! Best wishes. - Will

TPS tested fine, thanks for the suggestion though.

I was taking it for a little drive and everything was going fine (other than the stumbling of course) when all of a sudden it lost all power, couldn't maintain speed. Stopped at the side of the road. It doesn't want to rev above about 2000 rpm under load and won't get above about 40 km/h. (There's more to this story, maybe I'll post it later)

We tested the fuel pressure on Sat and it was all good. I'm going to try swapping the MAF with the one in the Blazer but I'm starting to run out of ideas. I keep coming back to the thought that my cat might not be good or clogged or maybe something to do with the 02 sensors

I had forgotten to plug one of the O2 sensors back in, that's what the new problem was. Disconnected the battery to reset everything and it ran like it did before.

So then I wapped the MAF sensor with the one in the Blazer and it runs perfect! Dropped it off at the garage for the safety tomorrow, fingers crossed it all goes well.

Yeah I was so relieved after I swapped it out, I was worrying I'd have to start tearing the engine apart to replace injectors or something.

AND it's all safetied and ready to be insured

I wish I could start into the SAS right away, but I have other things I need to work on before I start that. I have a bunch of house stuff I need to get done, help blaz with his SAS, then my Blazer needs some work etc etc.

So there won't be very many updates in this thread for a little while.

That's certainly understandable.
