Yeah rear output shaft, I guess it doesn't even matter THAT much since I'll have to make a new driveshaft anyway, but would prefer to swap it in before the SAS happens

If you plan on a SAS, I would strongly suggest a SYE if you are going to have any more that 5" lift, I didn't, now I have to tear into it again to resolve my driveline vibration.

Picked up a matched set of axles yesterday from a 79 Bronco, I don't know which front axle I'll be using now.

id use the bronco axle since its a high pinion, im not sure what other axle you got though.

The other axle is a HD D44 out of a 76 Ford 3/4 ton. Low pinion but 3"x1/4 wall tubes. I've since learned the HP gear design is a bit stronger than the LP gears so I will likely be using the new axle. I'm also leaning towards doing the radius arm suspension on it now.

I'd do the radius arms for sure! I wish I'd done coils...

Started up like a champ! woo hoo!

Moved it out of the flower bed incase it gets really muddy, sounds so good with no muffler lol.

Its good to hear that your rig is running. I'm interested to see your build progress. Don't know that I'll ever go down the SAS road, but I love watching and learning from you guys.

Wasn't sure if I should put this in here or my other trucks thread lol.

Anyway, I was set to buy just the frame from this truck to replace the bent one on the S10. He decided he didn't have time to part it out the rest of the way and wanted to sell it as is. It's a 2000 GMC Sonoma ZR2, and it's the same one that the box came from.

Best selling feature is it's a clean title so I don't have to go through the hassle of getting the S10 done as a rebuilt vehicle. All of the good parts from the S10 will be getting swithced onto the Sonoma.

Cool deal! Now you have to swap the bed back though.
