Jamaroon's ZR2
I wanted to do the bodywork first, I'm going to do everything when it's down for the SAS. As for progress, it only took 2 weeks but I got the axle out of the back of the truck, so that's something lol.
And I finally have 240v outlets in the garage, 1- 30A & 1- 50A, so I can finally run bigger welders.
My wife and son will be visiting her sister for a week, starting this weekend, so I'll have some progress coming up soon.
Didn't get as much done as I was hoping.... decided to cut down a tree instead lol.
But here's what I got done on the 10.5.
Fluid drained and axle shafts and carrier out. I can use the driver side axle shaft as a spare. The passenger side is too long though.

Split the carrier

And welded it up, and reassembled. Didn't take any pictures of it welded. I just welded the gears, I didn't go with the orb of traction.

And dropped the 5.13 ring gear on the carrier with the help of the oven.

Not much new to report, still haven't finished the rear axle. My lack of experience makes me hesitant to work on it, so I usually find something else to do on the rare occasion that I have some free time.
I took one of the axle shafts from the bent axle to my buddies to turn it down a bit. It' longer than the shaft from the straight axle and was bottoming out on the splines, turning it down should allow me to be able to use it as a spare.
