Doesn't look like a military version unless someone changed a bunch of stuff. Military version didn't have air vents, carpet, or cloth seats. Also the bumpers and grill are different. BUT there's one running around out here that was changed over to look more like a civilian model. There is a website devoted to old military trucks. www.stealsoldiers.com maybe see if they can figure out by the vin. Also I might be wrong but I think the american military only built these from 84-86

sorry i misspelled steel http://www.steelsoldiers.com/
like i said it is possible. theres a guy at my work that has a show quality old military blazer. only thing that gave it away was it still had the tow points on it.
it really wouldnt be that hard to fix it up. the military ones were just gutted, no a/c, no carpet, no chrome, etc so if someone had a parts truck laying around they could have easily just took everything off and swapped it over
hers a old 85 i used to own

That was a nice looking truck
Thats from wikipedia, i dont know how reliable it is... i know i got the 12/24 electric system tho.. but i though all diesel K5s had this?
http://coloradok5.com/specs.shtml#1982
The specs the ck5.com makes me a bit confused..

Around 1981, a prototype K5 Blazer was used as a testbed for a military CUCV vehicle. Between 1983 and 1987, what is known as the M1009 CUCV was the production militarized version of the civilian K5. The differences are the lack of an air conditioner an additional leaf spring in the suspension, a hybrid 12/24 volt electrical system (described in detail below), blackout headlights, a rifle rack, and special paint jobs. A majority of them are painted olive drab green or in the woodland camouflage pattern, though some vehicles that saw desert use were painted tan. All M1009s, including its derivatives, are powered with the 6.2 L Diesel power plant.

one way to see if your vehicle is 24 volt is pop the hood. right in the middle of the firewall above the distributor you will see this giant electrical capacitor. also your wiper motor will have these three little battery looking things the wires run through. thats what knocks down the 24 volts to 12 volts. actually i think the only thing 24 volt is the starter everything is else is 12

Yep its a 24volt starter 2x batteries
and as you said, the rest runs on 12v.Last night me and the old man started tearing down the inside of the truck, starting with the trunk.
Removiong the side panels revealed a wood structure inside the walls....
Speakers had no cables to them, theres an 12V electrical output with no wires drawn to it...
The leather and cloth on the panels are in quite good condition with some minor scratches. The wood on the other hand are a bit more trashed. Inside the walls were spiders net, dirt, mud and all sorts of old stuff.
The metal inside is olive green, most tried to be overpainted with black spraypaint. The dash has also been green at one time.
Were there any civilian olive green trucks from the factory?
As proven above this should not be a military vehicle but now im not sure again... In the roof where there was supposed to be a lamp, there is nothing
The bolts holding the hardtop were round and had to be drilled out, out of like 15 bolts, 5 were present.
What is the weight of the hardtop? im taking it off tonight, and last night it fel like it was a couple of 100 kgs...
Whats the size of the torx holding on the the belt thingie ? Its hughe and I have to get a tool just for that today..
Pics are coming of the teardown
