After driving the queen this summer the temp outside is now getting cooler and the weather is changing... Removed 3 parts today, guess what they are for!

i was gonna guess proportioning valve at first glance too but looks like it has rubber hoses going to it. i dont recognize it.. even having owned a diesel blazer. but i tore out all my diesel stuff so im guessing it something to do with the filter or whatever under the hood. looks like something i threw in the trash

edit... yep filter dohicky - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1-M10...ehicleQ5fParts

correct :P

I got a new(verry old) viper motor donated from a 76 suburban c10, wich works flawlessly!!
Going to install a fuelfilter holder from a Volvo F7 truck, they have 2 spinon filters and costs $4 each new filter not $30 as the original one.. =)

Default yaty

ofcourse the new motor started to show the first symptoms of the dead one yesterday....

measured the voltage on pin1 on the main connector to the motor and saw only about 3 -4 volts, took an external 12v cable and spliced it into that same cable and the motor regained its full strength, i love free fixes.

Also did the resolder on my 97 blazers pulse card, and it has never failed me since.

posting a pic on the 2
