Default Kenosha Build.

hey guys. my name is Zach, i finally decided to start a thread with everything im doing to my truck. i have a list of things im going to do eventually, but the list will slowly dwindle down as all the mods and fixes filter into my truck.

As for the truck, its a 96 blazer LT 4door 4x4. Green. i got the truck bone stock except for the brush guard/bull bar, whatever the big thing on the front of the truck is called. so far i have put a new head-unit in, Alpine CDA-9886. along with 2 new front speakers, and a subwoofer. a little 10" 450W pioneer and a dual 600W amp. all free from a friend i helped out. i custom built the box to fit behind the wheel well on the passenger side. turned out really good and i am very happy with the sound.

the other mod i have made so far is 2 KC Hilites 57 series. 100 watts each. some long range lights. i was going to mount them on my roof rack by just drilling holes on the rail but for a quick install i just mounted them on the brush guard and i like the way they look right next to the chevy symbol.

the spare tire was knocked off by some guy in a riced out civic that rear ended me. so now that is on the roof held by a tie down and locked with a bike lock. (i grew up in chicago. im weary of people stealing my siht) i also have some Goodyear Wrangler Radials on my truck right now. brand new from walmart 98 bucks each! couldnt pass it up especially how winter was rolling up fast.

i also have a Garmin GPS system i always keep in my truck. idk if this really counts as a mod or what.

i will post pics of these later if i can get them off of my playstation 3. but here is the list:

1.5" Torsin bar crank (same time i do the shackles) CHECK

2" Shackle lift (in the mail now) CHECK

Cherry bomb Extreme muffler CHECK

Magnaflow Catalytic Converter CHECK

Rear spare tire holder CHECK

Black widow roof rack

4 KC HIlites for the roof rack

night shade tail lights and such (happening this weekend) CHECK

herculiner the frame and rocker panels.

clevace for the hitch

recovery rope

maybe paint the black parts of my stock wheels to match my paint? (thoughts???)

sand and paint spare tire black CHECK

later down the road:

2" body lift

33" tires with some sort of black wheels. (when my new ones wear out)

this is my list as of now. i know its going to take time to get all this done but im hoping to have a majority of this done by the time summer ends.

questions and comments are encouraged. let me know what you guys think my truck will look like and if you like it.

Sounds like a good game plan. I know you have some in your album, but throw some pictures up of what it looks like now, so we can see the progression as you do stuff.

gonna follow your build seems pretty cool. I would recommend before doing your shackles spraying some pb blaster or wd40 on you leaf bushings and the bushings in your frame, those tend to be really rusted in there. I had to hot torch the one side out when I did my shackles.
