can we get pic of how u modify the billet alumium joint to the factory steering shaft as mine has alot of play and didnt thing they can be removed nice truck btw makes me crave a sfa

thats a perfect link u gave me for this. i am replacing the pitman arm again and gonna buy the joint to make it tighter. does the factory steering shaft just slip off or do u unbolt it from the column?

Unbolts from the steering box... slips off the upper steering shaft.

Well... Just bought that welder joe u joint off eBay. Hope its just as good as the flaming river one...

let me know how this works out im curious to see how much improvment it makes. i have beefed up all my steering and suspension parts and this is the last one i need to improve on

Got the welder joe steering joint in today. I was in a rush so i didnt get any pics, but it feels awesome, way better then the stupid rag joint.

Overall im very pleased with this mod... It does make a funny hydraulic noise when turning the wheel quickly, but ill trade that any day for the much better steering response.

No issues at all installing it, install was very strait forward if you read the flaming river how-to i posted.
