A lil something i'm working on...pics.
Ok so i got my new K&N air filter (RU-3130) on thursday, its taller
and narrower so it would not be a tight fit and rubbing on the
heat sheild which i wanted compared to the ebay filter.

so i ran into a couple of hic-cups when fitting everthing on,mainly the
grommet for the sensor didnt fit as good as i had hoped, was a tiny
bit small so it didnt seal properly with the intake pipe very well,i had used
loctite instant gel glue to seal the grommet good so there would be no air leak,
and 2nd was i didnt like the way the intake was positioned when mounted,
i drilled a new hole so it would mount about an inch futher to the right
and bingo it fit like a glove.

ima say it again i think it looks soo much better in black!

zipped tied it for right now to hold down the seal cuz i added a bit
more glue along the corners where it bends, also added a couple stickies
will take the zips off in a day or 2.

overall i have already noticed better torque & throtle response in
acceleration with the full intake/heat sheild/K&N filter as opposed to
the way it was set up before, sounds louder/deeper then before,
checked the intake and sheild after a good 25min drive and the coat
of heat paint is doing its job keeping it a cooler then before.

so the day before i was fiddling with my door panel cuz it was loose, more
then half of my clips were busted, didnt have time to go to the auto shop
so i tried to salvage what i could, was still a bit loose so i cut up a piece
of adhesive velcro and voila(yes i had to google how to spell it lol).
while i had the panel off i noticed i desperately need to replace my door
speakers, that thing wasnt just blown out,the speaker cone wasnt even
attached anymore
to good speakers(nothing special) so will keep my eyes open for a good deal.

off subject but not sure if i told you guys i put the factory swirls back on
a few weeks ago,i kinda missed them but "therandom1" was right it didnt look
right,it needed to be dropped or have taller tires to fill the gap space between
the fender and tire.

Can anyone recomend me a good product to take off tuff water spots that just wont come off with a reg wash and restore shine?
or i have to polish and wax for that? ive never done so if thats it..
Oh sure, make me look like the bad guy! lol (jk) I forget, but are you opposed to dropping it, or just hadn't planned on it?
I know on glass some people have used a 00 grade steel wool (I know, I thought the same thing, but it's apparently a VERY fine grade that won't scratch unless you really scrub hard) but I have no idea if that would work on paint, and frankly, I'm WAY too scared to try it out.
Oh and BTW, feel free to call me Sean.
